D'Erasmo Group Course on Frame Drums

At the Teatro LabArca, a new course is launching dedicated to frame drums, the oldest and most widespread family of membrane percussion instruments.
The instrument consists of a single skin stretched over a ring, with or without metal cymbals (known as a ‘mute’), and is shallower than its diameter (frame drum).

The course is open to everyone, with no entry requirements, and is suitable for all levels. The programme explores techniques, rhythmic vocabulary, playing styles and repertoire across different types of drums. For further details, click here
